POGO expansion to continue in 2020: Property exec
The Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGO) are expected to continue expansion in 2020, despite uncertainties facing the sector including Beijing’s call to ban online gambling.
The statement was made by Prime Philippines founder and CEO Jet Yu during the recent “The Final Pitch: Real Estate and Livable Cities” press conference in Makati City.
Yu said there was no signs of slow down as the Philippines “remains resilient.” The property executive said his company forecast the sector to “continue to expand in Metro Manila” in 2020.
POGO businesses have already outpaced the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector when it comes to office take-up, he added.
